As you're all aware, Bremont has produced a watch case which is inspired by the famous 'budget box' which is held up outside 11 Downing Street on Budget day. It's an exact replica of the box, and is made from pine, lined with black satin and covered in scarlet leather.
The very first budget box was made in 1860 and was lined to ensure that it would sink if thrown overboard a ship and made bomb proof.....Perfect then for Bremont Watches!
It holds up to 10 watches and can be customised, such as a different colour. It's priced at £3,750 and can be bought from the Bremont Boutique.
I took the photos for the budget box for inclusion in the press release, and believe me - this box is heavy and very well made... Here's some additional photos.
