Alliance of British Watchmakers

Hi guys, I asked why Bremont hasn't joined the Alliance on the " Ask Bremont" section and had no luck so thought I'd try on here.
Anyone know why they haven't joined?

I don't know but I also can't quite fathom why there is suddenly an 'Alliance of British Watchmakers'. Most of the companies listed in their profiles have existed for quite some time but none are what you could consider a main stream brand where as Bremont is, the watches appear in various 'high street' stores. May be that's why they haven't joined, it might possibly dilute the brand name?
