I haven't got a macbook, don't know what imgur is and the rest has just flown over my head at about 40,000ft

Imgur is just an image sharing website, much like photobucket is. If you can upload your photos to any online sharing sites you can then post them on here just using a web browser on any computer and using the image tab in the reply 'header'.

I have a feeling that your issue might be an Android/Tapatalk conflict. I'm assuming from your replies that you have a Samsung A105 which will be running Android so unfortunately anyone using an iPhone won't be able to advise unless they know Android as well.

Thanks. My S500 is an early one (300-range serial) and hasn’t been babied at all, it was my go-to watch until recently. Not that you’d know it though...

My S300 is my go to watch for outdoors too, I don't know why but it appears more rugged than my other autos.
Yours is a cracker btw.
