    It's going to cost £105 to have another caseback engraved and tested but my dad's service No. 2226899 seems more personal than the kite's Squadron letters he flew in a few times.
    I can remember as a kid him telling me his Lancs letters but very little else.
    He didn't mention for instance that other crews had been lost in their previous QR-T's
    Looking at his mate's logbook copy they flew in most of 'B' flights Lancs anyway.

    Yeah i gave them the go ahead and asked about the original case back.

    You’ll no doubt have to forgo that one as part of the ‘contract’ - I asked the same question when they altered the SE301 casebacks for us.

    The more I see of the watch, the more I like it. I love the Lancaster detailing and how it is slightly raised from the dial. Beautiful.
