FS: S500/RND/BR with rare ‘chronoteter’ case back spelling mistake - see photos

Selling my beloved Royal Navy Clearance Divers Supermarine S500. This watch is a limited run of 150 made for us Royal Navy Clearance Divers and only a few of the early run units have the chronoteter vice chronometer spelling mistake on the case back. I have the original Email correspondence with the helpful Bremont special projects team who offered to replace the case back with a corrected version, but I kindly declined..! This watch comes with NATO standard rubber and working Velcro canvas straps. Also included in this sale is the original product sales information pamphlet and all original papers. I’ll be sad to see this watch leave my collection but I hope another collector enjoys owning a watch with a great back story to it as much as I have! Price :Offers in excess of £4000.

Pipes, welcome to the forum - thanks for joining! Best of luck with the sale, it's a lovely watch that has been popular on the pre-loved market. That's an interesting story about the caseback error too, adds a little bit of intrigue to the watch!

Thanks for the welcome J! Good to be here I know itÂ’s a bit fascinating in these days of spell check that the proof reader missed this one!
