I used to see Typhoons from nearby Wharton flying over Rivington Moor uptil a couple of years ago.
I believe BAE are still manufacturing Typhoon at Warton. Shame you don’t see them anymore, they’re great looking (and sounding!) aeroplanes.
we used to see Tornados in the lake district and they'd come down the valley over Deewentwater every hour.
Saw a Hercules either in the lakes too, either there or in the Dales.
The Typhoons were there and gone, awesome sound to them.

It was escorted by other planes made by BAE /British Aerospace. Think there was 4 escorts including a lightning, tornado. Cambarra .
