Hello - New to Bremont and new to this forum

There doesn't seen to be an area that new members can introduce themselves, so I guess that this is as good a place as anywhere else.

Anyway, hello, my name is John and I am from the North West of the UK.

I am new to Bremont, have been looking at Bremont watches for a little while, and last week I purchased an Airco Mach 2 from an Authorised Dealer.

I am very happy indeed with the Airco, I think it's a beautiful watch.

Although this is my first Bremont, I am lucky to have a number of other watches (which are listed in my signature), and I think the Airco will fit in very nicely with these.Click image for larger version.

Looking forward to being part of the Bremont community and learning all about Bremont from you all.

Thanks for reading & have a great day.

    John.

Hi John, welcome to the forum! There is a thread called ‘A Bit About Ourselves and What We Do’ - but this thread is absolutely fine too!

The Airco is a beautiful watch, and a good choice. How’re you finding the slightly smaller size?

Hi and thank you for the welcome.

I have only had the Airco for 4 days so far, so still getting used to it to some extent.

For me, I find 40/41 size is the sweet spot, so I like the Airco a lot.

I am also enjoying the leather strap, All my other watches are on NATO straps, except for the DateJust which is on a bracelet.
It's my first leather strap so will see how that goes.

    Cheers,

    John.

    Welcome to the forum.

The Airco is a really nice watch, very classy. It does feel small compared to most of the other Bremonts, even ones that on paper are around the same size. Have you tried any of the others on?

    Thank you for the welcome.

Yes. I am liking the Airco a lot, it felt right when I put it on.

tbh I didn't try on any other Bremont's. I did research others though, but I specifically wanted a 40 0r 41 size, and didn't want a chronograph, nothing wrong at all with chronographs of course, but not my preference. It just felt like the right one for me.

    Cheers,

    John.
