    Question Sea Going Straps

Besides the Bremont Temple Island rubber strap, can anyone recommend another strap to fit that will survive a daily dunk in the sea whilst on holiday?

Hi Oggyengineer, welcome to the forum, thanks for joining us!

Other strap options really revolve around what watch youíre looking at the strap for? There are a few opinions, but one or two are only really best suited to certain models.

I was told by the Bremont Boutique that the only really 'safe' water ones are the rubber straps. Some of the NATO's have leather elements that may be effected by water. This was a few years ago, not sure what newer materials have been introduced.

Oh, and bracelets, since they are all metal.

Yeah, thatís correct. It does give a few options, but none aside from the Temple Island would suit an ALT1-C, in my opinion!

Is it just a name change, or was the materials changed somehow?

I don't know, I think it was just a name change. It's a really nice strap, whatever it's called.
