Downsizing the collection; DH-88 Comet special limited edition 239/282 for sale.

Including a small part of one of the remaining original DH-88s, developed specifically to participate in the 1934 MacRobertson Air Race from the United Kingdom to Australia.

Bought as second owner when one year old; I’ve never worn it (automatic watch winder only), the previous owner only rarely. The owner’s book is blank so can be filled in with the purchaser’s details. Comes with all original accessories, plus a new strap.

Just to let you know though, there was one of these on eBay over the last few days - it achieved just over £4k in the end, which I think we can all agree is a rather low price! That’s not to say you won’t achieve your asking price, obviously.
