    Watch Service

I miss my lightly used Bremont F-16 watch. The watch failed in less than two years of lightly used service. I shipped it to London on 5 Jan 2019 and haven’t heard of it since. I did enquire back in Feb and was told that the watch was due to be finished on 23 Mar. Hopefully I will get it back soon.

Hi Tiger16, welcome to the forum.

Sorry to hear about your watch, but these things do happen. What failed on it?

The timescale you mention there is not uncommon for a watch service, so sit tight and I’m sure your watch will be back with you in perfect order soon.

So what failed on my watch? One day while I was winding it it felt as if something internal had broken. The crown no longer seemed to be engaged and there was a lot less resistance when turning the crown.
