Lol just checked they are ?155 new so 100 bucks whilst hardly insulting - isn?t enough - anyways I think I will keep this one and get shot of a bunch of leather hardly use or new - better still go to Bremont and ask to exchange????? Is possible?

Fair enough. I have a pain threshold for buying straps nowadays. Most of the time they go unused. At least on the BR 01 the straps are easy to change.
