    SCAMMER ALERT - nicolndapo@gmail.com

    Hey All -

So I was approached by this guy nicolndapo@gmail.com who claimed to have a IAFDT watch for sale. He sent me a private PM here asked that I send him a email to this address if interested... I took the bait.... As we all know the IAFDT is a holy grail Bremont for me. Anyway I email the guy and ask for pictures and price. He sends me the equivalent of the stock Bremont publicity photos of the watch and a laundry list of "references" he has.... I ask for a photo of a specific date and time from him and to send me pics of the bremont package (leather pouch, warranty card etc...). Also ask how he aquired the watch as it is so rare.... Guess what? Crickets.... nothing.... nada. I am not new to this game and this guy is a scum bag scammer. Be aware. Normally I dont post stuff like this but when you come across a A-hole on these forums which is built on trust and reputation I felt compelled to warn others he may ask.....

    Hi Brendan,

Thanks for sharing, and really sorry you had to be subjected to that here! As of this morning, I've banned the user associated with that email address.

I has also 'stuck' this to the top of this sub-forum so it will stick out to people and hopefully garner the attention it deserves.

    J.
