Tested beyond endurance. Well it seems mine couldn't cope with watching a football match. Watch was originally sent back with issues now this. Not what you expect .

This happened to my SE and several others - it was a faulty batch of screws of some sort. It was addressed promptly and then no further issues......sorry to see it but I understand your frustration!
It will be the third visit back to Bremont I think with this one, all bar one of my 4 Brement's have been back for one thing or another. If it is such a faulty batch then all should have been recalled, or at least a letter sent out saying that they will honour any issues that could be blamed on the screws, even if outside of warranty window. Or is it they are hoping the screws hold out long enough to outlive the warranty and we the customers have to pay to rectify.
Very disappointing in my opinion, if its such a known fault. I know it will be actioned quickly with little fuss, but should this really be happening.
My SE also needs to go back Andy, when the top crown is in position 2 I can change the date by turning clockwise but cannot change the day by turning anti clockwise, the crown just rotates and nothing happens! I agree it will be fixed without problem but we are getting too many of these complaints.
Gavin
I can understand your frustrations. Having it go back once or twice is bad enough, but this many times, leaves questions unanswered! Were the issues all the same?
And come to think, having been back so many times, why were not the screws replaced,if they were known to be faulty?
Gavin, sorry to read you are having mechanical problems too with your Alt1tude SE. Hopefully you have let Bremont know. I doubt it would look that great having 2 of the 30 of these watches on the repair bench at the same time.
Never had a rotor come loose on any of my other watches, so this is new to me. I did return twice early on after purchase, dates window was not aligned correctly. Couple of months later, dust particles (fabric bits??) appeared inside both on the dial and inside workings and the rotor was not rotating smoothly and with a noise. I was told it was looked at. The problem I have now, is I have another Bremont that has a supposedly known issue that will be upgraded at a service, but will not be actioned as a standalone repair. In my opinion it sounds like a time bomb waiting to go off, due to it being outside the warranty period.
Shame as I think the watches wear and look great.
Thank you. I did have an offer once to visit Henley , might take them up if it's still available to be honoured. I did speak with the senior watch maker (I think that was his title) at the Wright Flier launch about this watch and rotor.
At least it's still within warranty

Wow man..... Terrible news. Ironically my SE needs service too. The manual wind is not feeling right at all. Feels like something is out of sorts like a grinding on each turn vs a smooth turn.
