Dude! That is such a great combo on that watch. Love the Dragon Lady. In the Top 3 Bremonts ever made IMHO.

Dumb question time: When using NATO style and other non-buckle/deployment straps, are straight spring bars used?

Best to use curved spring bars. The leather Natos won't fit through with the straight bars.

IMO, not a dumb question, as a new owner myself, I wasn't sure!

Going one step further, is the advice from Bc321, the same for third party NATO straps?

I own quite a few straps. For me I prefer Toshi straps to anything I have got from Bremont in a leather. For both quality and price

My choice of straps is between the Vintage Brown and the Nubuck.

Last week I visited my nearest AD, sadly all the straps were the traditional calf ones. Except for the Solo37 with the RG bezel. Now I believed that the strap on this piece was a Nubuck one. But now I believe that it is a tan calf strap, can anyone advise please?

I can't say for sure without seeing it, but I have often seen the solo 37 paired with a nubuck strap!
