    Straps - which one

Sorry to keep harbouring on about this, but while my watch is being serviced, I have decided to have the original strap replaced.

Which one would you choose or from experience which would suit the best for a Solo/CR?

Normally I would got for the brown vintage. However, the black will suit very well.

I would go for the Black with White stitching as I have a spare brand new one in the box that you may be interested in 

I agree - either would work well, I think. How about putting it on a deployment clasp too, you could extend the strap life that way.

    Thanks for the suggestion.

I hadn't considered the deployment until now, better take a look before going for the buckle.

Over the past couple of years all my watches have been normal pin buckles and I hadn't gotten used to them

I have to admit to favouring the black vintage leather. Though a couple of staff members at Henley, when I asked them, said the Nubuck.

It's not cheap, but worth it IMO - I use on both my MB/TWG and S500. I like the feel of it over a pin buckle.

Not my experience Tony. The bremont deployant is quite chunky and to me anyway highly uncomfortable. The pin buckle combination is , however, incredibly comfortable.

I have just checked the price of the deployant.

And I think that it will have to wait for a while, until I have tried one on.

The nubuck strap is my favorite on the white Solo! Second choice would be vintage brown, but a distant second! Good hunting.Cheers Jim. PS I Just read, your original post and I think the black/ cream Solo would look better on vintage brown followed by vintage black! You can't go wrong with any of them!! Cheers

    +1

A lot of money for a small item like a buckle but it's well made and still cheaper than most luxury brands....$480 USD for IWC single deployment...$630 for G.O....$400 for Omega...so the US retail of $280 for Bremonts is not bad at all.
