With the top of the range model - the 'Editon' being £8k, I suspect many of us here will choose Bremont over Apple!
If I were to buy one, it would be the black apple watch sport with black strap, which I suspect will become the most popular version due to its simple color and cheapest price. I'm interested to compare the two sizes on the wrist, but I'd probably go 42mm.
That being said, I don't antixipate buying one at this point. I enjoy my "real" watches too much and don't think I'd use it enough! I'm anxious to follow along as it becomes more widely adopted and software improves for it! The iPhone has changed so much since it was first released, I can only imagine the watch will too!
The edition version is just bonkers, designed for people who have more money than sense.

Agreed. I am admittedly a Apple fan boy with my iPhones, Macs, etc but I dont think I will get the watch. I like my real watches too much also. I also agree that the cheaper sport watch will be the only big seller. I cant see many folks wanting to drop 10K on a gold apple watch.

I am with most of you guys here. Don't think an apple watch can replace my WT.... YET... Technology is moving so fast, that i wonder if in the future the apple watch (or any smart watch) wont be a necessity. I mean, I honestly felt the exact same way when the iPhone came out (my little Nokia was more than enough for me!) and now the idea of leaving home without my iPhone scares me. Not sure I'll be buying the first generation of this watch, but i'm pretty sure by the time we get to apple watch 3, it'll be very tempting indeed.
I'm the same, I have an iPhone, Mac, iPad, but I think the watch is too different for me.
No doubt the Apple sheeple will buy one because it is an Apple device regardless of what it can do or how good it is. Personally I want a watch that can tell me the time and date and will last many years and not be "old news" next week. I don't need my watch to do anything else and certainly not to be a mini computer with a screen so small and that will probably be impossible to read in sunlight. More Apple hype in my view.
As you can guess I am not an Apple fan.
I might just get it at some point in the future for gym purposes, but no way will it ever replace a proper mechanical watch
The most expensive ones in gold could get me 3 Bremonts or a nice alt1-C/RG that would probably last more than a generation.The edition version is just bonkers, designed for people who have more money than sense.
