New Jaguar MKI and MKII Announced for BaselWorld 2015

With as much as we all liked the limited edition Lightweight E-type watches, Bremont and Jaguar have decided to add the watch to their core line as the MK1. It will use the same BWC/01 movement. It will retail for $10,950.

They have also made a chronograph version called the MKII that will be featured at Basel in a few weeks! It will reportedly retail for $6,550.

What do you guys think? Several of you mentioned wanting to see a Motorsport derived watch at Basel. I'd say this fits the bill!

Read more about the partnership and the watches here.

Any idea on price? I'm looking forward to seeing them at Basel.

I hope that price is USD $$? Overall I really like the design of the watch (was jealous when they released just a few the first time). The only thing I am not a big fan of is the Jaguar logo on the front tough. I would have liked to see them do something similar to the Boeing model and keep it a bit more subtle.

I share in your sentiment on this watch. Jaguar is already on the caseback, no need for their logo on the dial, keep it clean ala Boeing. The logo is the one detail that would prevent me from considering either watch.

I do however applaud Bremont in adding these to the core lineup. I like the look of the chrono, it's very classy, yet sporty.

Blimey, think I'll have to buy one in the U.S.!!! Am I doing my sums wrong or is $10950 a lot less than 8450 when converted??

The Jaguar logo on the front completely ruins this for me. I'm not a fan of co-branded stuff but at least keep it discrete
