Nick and Giles English Step-Up For A Worthy Cause

WatchPro published a nice article today about the relationship between the English brothers and the The Air Ambulance Service (TAAS). I do suggest giving it a read!

As you may remember, both Nick and Giles have been rescued by TAAS after airplane accidents over the last 20 years, and therefore have a special bond with the program. They will now serve as ambassadors for TAAS, and will financially support The Childrens Air Ambulance Service, a similar program that facilitates expedited travel of medically unstable children and babies.

Speaking personally as a physician, I've seen firsthand where minutes of difference in travel time have greatly impacted a patients recovery, or lack thereof! I'm encouraged to see Nick and Giles suppot this charity, especially given their use of the service in the past. Good on you, gents!

These two never cease to amaze me. I remember seeing Nick being taken away in the air ambulance nearly 20 years ago to the day now..... It was the London Air Ambulance that guaranteed his survival, and he very luckily got the last intensive care bed in the hospital. I'm so pleased to see how much it means to them, and that they don't take these things for granted. Bravo, chaps!

Thank you. I just wanted to share the newspaper from 1995 Showing Nick being taken away by the air ambulance. They all did an incredible job that day, as well as the RAF doctors who just happened to be flying close by.
