Red Bull Air Race: London Calling

I attended the Red Bull Air Race Qualifiers on Saturday and snapped these shots of Mike Goulian in action. I hope you enjoy them.

Looks great. I had thought about going, but with one thing and another I couldn't make it.

Wish I had now, it looked brilliant on TV.

I was going to go but was working Went last time at the o2 which was good. How was the standing start?

Standing starts were brilliant because you could see the power the planes are putting out as they rotate and then snap immediately into their route. Apparently, the pilots really liked lifting off from and landing onto the grass too.

Excellent - I hope they do it again next year when I can get some time off.
