I wish they would make a waterproof Hambledon strap made if the same soft rubber as the Temple Island Strap. I love the style of this, but would like an all weather, waterproof version.
I'm getting a little fed up of taking my U2 DLC off to swim or shower as it's my daily wearer, and leather that gets stinky if it's been wet or from summer sweat.
Id prefer this to the Temple Island as Nato straps have a massive plus during watersports etc. I've had springbars break whilst windsurfing several times and whatever 2 piece strap you have it's off to the sea bed forever. With a Nato style, if a springbar breaks then the water is still there, only attached by one side at least giving you time to do something about it.
