Thanks Jellytots, I did see that thread a while ago but didn't make the connection.

    #WOYW - What's On Your Wrist!

This arrived this morning! The watch is a graduation/Christmas present for my wife. Maybe she'll let me wear it occasionally *fingers crossed*.

I know it's not technically a WOYW shot, but I wanted to take a photo before she put it on for the first time.

The dial has a few nice features...

The numerals at 7 and 8 have smaller numbers that read 725 & 816. These are the two Squadrons that will operate the MH-60R in Australian service. The red carat on the date window is the tactical symbol for a 'certain hostile submarine'. Finally, the marker at the 6 o'clock position on the dial is the ALFS (airborne low frequency sonar) head.

    Cheers,

    Mark

Cool watch mob! Maybe she got one for you as well?

That's one of the first mil editions on that model too. I think it looks very sophisticated, much like a BP bathyscaphe.

vipereaper30, thanks for the note. Ahem...my (awesome) wife has agreed to the purchase of three other military edition Bremonts prior to this one. That said, I am already planning my next couple of purchases...hopefully a Model 1 Ti-GMT and a Solo with cream numbers on the dial.

    Cheers,

    Mark
