Today my Lancaster is QR-U, PD266, of 61 Squadron which completed over 60 ops during the war.
My dad did one of his ops in it.

Certainly a big presence on the wrist, it sits like the Lancaster mid-upper turret and out of my all my watches, it's the one I have to be most careful of 'touching' things

Absolutely, the C does stand higher on the wrist than a lot of watches, and it would be a shame to accidentally ding the bezel. This is something I struggle with myself, to be honest!

It's easily spotted in the dark, as you can see.
Massive amount of lume even though it doesn't matter to me much.Plus it keeps excellent time and the display caseback is a cracker

Hello,

Anyone tried to fit the deployant clasp with the Temple Island rubber strap? I just wanted to try it on but I am struggling!

Otherwise it is a lovely thick strap and fits perfectly with a buckle.
