A brand I’ve never heard of before.
It is a Vostok Europe, a Russian brand commemorating the Almaz space station that was the start of the International space station. My version is bronze with a quartz movement. I believe it is 47mm.

    J,

Thank you for the watch compliment! I have just finished ‘Operation Crossbow’ which was another book on the subject of Imagery Intelligence; also a key inspiration for the watch design.

I shall check out ‘Churchill’s War Lab’.

There was a book I noticed on Amazon about ISTAR and the need/requirement. It was sold out and was $105, but I must try and find a copy.

'ISTAR: The Need for a Capability Approach' by Peter Eberle.

(I fear this may be a bit too niche for even a Bremont forum!)

It’s very niche!! But I can bring it back to being Bremont related in that the U2 is named after the Lockheed U2, I also have the UK Imagery Intelligence Watch ( & Standard U2/SS). Boom back to a less niche subject!

I shall check the book out though, thank you for the recommend on both books!

Well tied-in to watch 'stuff' there, Dan! Pleasure, let me know what you think of them.

Will you be at the Townhouse event in London next month?

I've finally managed to crack adding photos and taken some shots of my 10th Anniversary duo. I've put the white gold on a Nato strap for now.
