My first solo was in a C152. I went on to fly the same aircraft for my first solo Nav, QXC, Skills Test and my first passenger flight. Shame it has since been retired...

The very same Jake (G-AXJX) the early aircraft had the trim handle in the roof.

What a fitting tribute, Jim! I can't imagine the gamut of emotions that you're feeling right now, but my wish is that your final flight would be very satisfying. Best wishes, and congratulations on a fantastic career. I think I speak on behalf of the forum that we are all very proud for you!

I've flown a few of them - I think the earliest Cherokee in my logbook is 1963, the newest 1980! They still knock the Cirrus' out the park IMO.

Rich, how could you do such a thing!?
It's a lovely watch, and worthy edition - look forward to seeing more of your (superb) photos as and when you can!

Looks great and, indeed, superb photos. I've been following this over on the Christopher Ward forum and the Bremont is definately the one to keep.

Decided to spend a long weekend in Seattle and just got back but not before stopping by the The Museum of Flight.

    Here are some quick pics.

    Spitfire

    P51

360 Flight Simulator, graphics seem a little dated but cool to be able to hang upside down!

Of course I had to check out the local Bremont dealer before I leave

    Cheers!

Stopped into Bremont's newest dealer today and had a chat with Neil Head our West Coast rep. He was here for some dealer training and I wanted to say hi and check out the new AD! He had a couple of the new models, the white MB11 and the new polished ALT1-C. I was really impressed with the WMB11 and put it on my short list of next watch! So here are a few pics! Cheers Jim . . . . The White MB11 looked so good in my new case that I almost walked out with it! Top row the MB trifecta 1 2 3!
