Thatís brilliant, Nicholas! Many congrats! You are certainly in rare company with that set! The menís watch is particularly lovely.

Is that a Bremont NATO that came with?

Are you planning on wearing these a bit or keeping them as safe queens?

Thank you. I'm glad I managed to secure the 'Light' set.

The strap is actually one I ordered for my Victory, as the leather is getting worn, but the timing of the strap arriving a couple of weeks ago, and the watches shortly after, meant I put it on the WG. The WG will get worn but I tend to rotate my watches, so not sure how often and not sure about the 37mm. I was chatting with a chap last week, who was picking up his WG 1918 and discussing how watch sizes have evolved. I think my first Breitling (20 years ago) must have been about 37mm, but not sure I'd wear a watch of that size now.

Since accepting the invitation and paying my deposit, I've been reading up on moon phases watches and also the manufacturer from whom the WG movement is evolved (Parmigiani), so looking forward to learning more from Giles at the Townhouse next month.

I've always found Sarpaneva's watches very interesting, especially the Seasons & Northern Lights watches that he made with the 'Badger' - uber cool!

The 'Badger' (James Thompson) is the king of lume! I have a few of his pieces (keyrings etc) and the workmanship and quality of the product and materials used is phenomenal.

Check out his website: Black Badger Advanced Composites.

After being told by Bremont that the end links on the bracelet for the Solo and U2 didnít match Iím pleasantly surprised that they actually do!!

Gives the U2 a completely different look and feel to what Iím used to; absolutely love the look though! ⌚️
