It is the opposite of my old Submariner in that it is mounted under the Crystal not on top of it.

Good news this afternoon, C/S emailed me & apologised for the mix up.

Apparently they shouldn't have approved the replacement Crystal until the diagnostics team had inspected it, they still can't...

Just had an email from customer services to say that they now want to charge me £245 to replace the Crystal.

I had already told them in my first email that I wouldn't pay to have it replaced...

I can see why it gets a lot of wrist time.

If I hadn't of recently bought the Panerai I may have been tempted by the blue chronograph.

I must say it is a very nice looking watch & a tribute to the hero's that flew & maintained them.

I have always been a sucker for Chrono's & GMT's, the only thing I am not sure on is the date at 4 o clock on the Chrono..

Not so keen on the black chronograph though myself, but the Argonaut...
