I bought my MB at a discounted sale price "sold as seen" and it arrived with a tiny 'ding' on the bezel, which makes me wonder whether the hardening is more resistant to day-to-day scratches that it...
Worrying that in the current situation people are still not following the rules.
The way I see it is we're choosing to pay for:
* UK production and design - machining cases, especially the Trip-tick is going to be more expensive;
* UK-based production and assembly;
*...
Thanks, appreciate it.
Thank you, and yes, wasn't aware there was an option. To be honest, I find the strap a bit uncomfortable: it's extremely well made and durable, but also quite stiff.

First time with this for ages
I think that has the most pleasing dial of any Bremont (or of any brand, actually) and the only one where I can see the point of a display back.
Enjoyed reading that, thanks for the share.
I find it interesting from a semantic as well as a value-driven concept how notions of "in-house" and "British" are understood and used. Neither term...
Of course; realised after I posted that I won't be able to travel into London anyway (duh)
Presumably all UK boutiques are now closed? Checked the website and doesn't refer to the current situation.
You regret the BB58?
Yes, and sounds a great idea.
Yes, I tend to keep them, although I used a Bremont one from when my S2000 was returned under warranty to send the S500, but got the blue one in return. I have a couple of Breitlings and some Omegas...
Yes, very quick and will do when I get chance, it's still in the plastic film at the moment. Travel case is a different colour to last time, a kind of subtle blue rather than black.
S500 arrived back from Bremont today, 17 days door-to-door; pretty sharp turnaround.
Kudos to Bremont: after an initial email that said the problem was caused by the date being changed during the restricted period of 8pm - 2am (which I hadn't done) I've now received another email...
I thought the Supermarine range was supposed to be as antimagnetic as the MB?
My S500 is there and I received an email from diagnostics giving me some information about the issue, but it wasn't very clear: I replied and am waiting to hear back.
Old article but worth a read to put things in perspective:

Divers will know to rinse thoroughly and I think it unlikely that any salt will remain afterwards. As I said, I've been diving, spearfishing and surfing for years and never had an issue. My son...
Yes rubber is better for diving. I've dived a lot with my Omega SMP on its bracelet, and although it works, the watch becomes loose at depth and rubber is better: the strap should be a little tight...
I don't know what to think really. My initial impressions were formed by my own experiences (2 returns out of 3 watches); seeing several up for sale with notes about warranty repairs and people's...
Yeah, they have a DLC U2 I'm thinking about.
Got logged out and missed a bit copying and pasting:
I support the brand and enjoy owning its watches - I have three. I like the marketing, the ambassadors, collaborations and the brand's social...
