We've provided some quick links to allow people to edit their profile / avatar on the site as it’s not entirely clear! Everyone who’s registered and logged in can edit these settings and more by clicking on the ‘Settings’ link in the top right of the site, then following the links that will appear down the left menu. A quick link to your settings is: http://alt1tude.bremont.com/forum/usercp.php

1) Adding or editing an Avatar Image

An Avatar is the image that appears next to all of the posts that you create or reply to. Maximum image size for an avatar is 128 x 128 pixels.

2) Editing your signature text or Image

Most people have their own 'signature' for their posts. For example they might list what watches they own or a link to their email address or Facebook page. We're happy for you to place a link to a related personal site in your signature but please don't advertise watches for sale within your signature! Alternatively you may want to upload a signature graphic - max. size for this is 760 x 200 pixels.

3) Editing your profile

Your 'profile' is what people see when they click on your username on the site. You can add as much data in here as you wish, such your Date of Birth, email address etc.

4) Adding a profile picture
link: http://alt1tude.bremont.com/forum/profile.php?do=editprofilepic
You can add a picture to your profile by following the above link. A profile picture is different from your avatar (it’s only viewable on your profile page not your posts). Some people use the avatar as a graphic or fictional image (i.e image of a watch) and use a proper photo for their profile.

5) Change your profile privacy settings
link: http://alt1tude.bremont.com/forum/profile.php?do=privacy
You can specify who sees information on your profile. ‘Everyone’ means any person visiting the site - so if you are worried about privacy then you can either select - ‘registered members’ or you can add specific contacts and only allow them to see that information.

If you have anymore questions or problems with editing your profile, please email: admin@alt1tude.bremont.com and we’ll help the best we can!
