Bremont Gaining Time

Hello all,

Bought an Airco Mach 3 about 4 weeks ago which I love (apart from how badly the Nubuck strap has aged already!!) but I have noticed it’s gaining about a minute per week. I have the COSC which is about +2.57 secs per day so seems quite a bit out.

Any way to get this checked?

Hi Joe,

Welcome to the forum - it’s good to have you here.

The COSC specifications are +6/-4 seconds per day generally, but up to 10 seconds a day is allowable. This is what COSC themselves have to say:


...daily rate on the first 10 days of testing: from -4 sec to +6 sec., or up to 10 seconds per day.

Your watch, whilst outside of limits for COSC still isn’t bad, however if it is annoying you, send it back to Bremont and they will regulate it for you.

Great, thanks for your response. I’ll have a chat with the shop I bought it from / Bremont direct.
