Seen in town earlier today, a truly magnificent thing of beauty - a Rolls Royce Silver Cloud 111!

Saw this from Facebook earlier and was flabbergasted at how beautiful that is! It also reminded me of my grandmother..She worked in ceramics and would make and paint me different items as I was growing up. As I recall, one of them looked exactly like this, same color scheme and all! I hope that I still have it tucked away somewhere!

Thanks for sharing here!

Having recently spent a lovely few days touring around Wales in a 1977 Triumph Spitfire, the thought of open top motoring in summer took my fancy - so I have just bought a lovely Mk2 MX5 / Miata from 1999, it's certainly a fun car to drive. It was in great condition although the original alloys were in need of some TLC so I took it to a local firm and this is the result!

The photograph was taken on my new Fuji X100T, a great little camera for street and travel photography.

Nice looking car and refurbished wheels. It would have looked even better if you'd taken it with the car's soft top down with a nicer back ground which would really have shown the car off.

Thanks for the compliments, your points noted, I'll see what I can do! As for the background I was trying for something neutral, photography lessons are next on my list!!

Sorry, I didn't want to come across as critical because the photo is good but I think you could have shown off what is a really nice looking car a lot better. I will look forward to seeing your photo of the car after your photograhy lessons. :D

On the contrary I did not see it like that at all, it's only by having ones work open to critical assessment that one stands any chance of getting better!

I'm rather in awe of an original RHD TR8 DHC. My wife tells me I need my head looking at. If I get it - will have to post here, using the correct lighting.

You are a brave man Jerry - I suspect your wife knows something you don't!! As for me I have had enough of unreliable British Leyland sports cars and have now thrown my lot in with the Japanese!
