Looking to get a less expensive piece for more everyday wear..wanted to get some thoughts from people smarter than me on Longines

A nice looking piece, IMO. Could go for a simpler, dual register layout IMO (like the ALT1-C/PW), but you could do a lot worse!

I seem to remember an article on Gear Patrol called "If you can't afford this, buy this" that compared the Bremont Victory to a Longines Double Retrograde chronograph. It appears the model number is L27174785 if you're interested in giving it a look.

Ah yes i love the new Alt1-C/PW...but I really like the white solo too..my thought is get a solo and also a PW look alike (Longines) for the price of the PW ..just wanted to expand out and look at other brands and diversify a bit as well

I'll most definitely look at the one you mentioned

I have personally owned a couple of Longines watches and been impressed with the quality , good VFM IMO:)
