Thought you chaps might want to see these from last night's rather special do at Skylon on the Southbank. Not only were Giles English and Peter Roberts there, but ATG Vintage Watches was also celebrating a rather big coup - he's become a UK AD for Peter Speake-Marin's incredible watches...

Anyway. I bumped into Bydandie there, who was still wearing his "jock" strap and proudly telling everyone who asked (and many who didn't) that there would never be another like it in the world. Ever. Various people seemed to like it tho - not that Badger Bones needs any more work by the sounds of it!

Nick was also showing of some new Bremont-branded goodies:

There's a pretty cool P-51 themed iPad case flying around too!

Nice to get so close to the MB1, even if it was in fully deconstructed mode! Apologies for not giving it a dust...

And of course the Solo was there too, and was garnering quite a bit of attention...

...but not as much attention as this one: the P-51

Apparently this is how *all* the Henley crew are wearing their watches this year...

Looks like a good event, thanks for the pics. What was the Solo like up close?

The cream Solo is stunning with the white-faced Solo was more dressy IMHO. Very different though and a watch that will make a lot of people very happy.

A great evening and great to spend time with Peter and Giles as well as Mat, Jon, Andy and Al. Peter Speak-Marin was very approachable and his watches were stunning, with a less expensive range in the pipeline over the next year apparently!

I look forward to the next one! ;)

Off topic: I love PSM watches but they have always been a bit too much price range wise...ironically I could sell most of my collection and probably get one... I am not too keen on the use of roman numerals on dials which I know he does on some of his watches... but I totally love the 'Skulls' piece he has done, as it feels quite classical in terms of the case etc but the dial feels very modern and no markers etc make it look great!

Thanks bydandie, I'm really looking forward to trying one on soon. Cream or white, decisions decisions!
