And on the subject of Q codes did anyone know that QAZ stood for ''I am flying in a storm''??

Thanks for sharing, Gavin!

On the subject of Q codes, I didn't know that. There are quite a few in aviation that I can think of, though: QDM, QDR, QTE, QUJ, QNH, QFE.. the list could go on!

Used in military comms Jake much like the old Q codes. I really do need to find where these challenge coins are minted - can someone please give me a QDM?

Unable, sorry Gavin. Will a QDR do?

That's certainly more helpful than a QTE - thankfully GPS came along and made things much easier!!

Or I could just give you a QUJ, and let you get even more lost trying to find the coins..

Thanks Jake, working on a hunch I have decided to QSY now to ''Henley Director'' on a discrete frequency in the hope of radar vectors to my final destination! Watch this space!

Roger, squawk '7000' and free call en-route.

I will watch this space, let me know how you get on - and if you can get your hands on one!
