Parked behind a neighbouring Solicitors office here in Nantwich this morning.
Come on Gavin. What can you tell us about this? Not being very knowledgable about cars it looks like the wheels aren't original but it does look like the blue racing Bugatti that was in my brothers Scalextrix….http://i192.photobucket.com/albums/z304/alabata/DSC02740.jpg (http://s192.photobucket.com/user/alabata/media/DSC02740.jpg.html)

Its a kit car replica, based on the Bugatti Type 35
The wheels are a pretty hideous choice, as is the modern steering wheel!

should be some nice classics at Silverstone Classic this weekend though :)

Hi Endo. Thanks for that. I did wonder how "Original" it was.

I bet it's a bit of fun though!!:D

:) no problem, the modern bits are a bit of a givaway, as is the N.I. plate

Gotta agree though, it would be a fun car to drive about.
Vintage cars have so much more character, back when the designers didn't have to worry about health & safety, and nimby's complaining about the noise/smell.

It's not so many years ago that all car models were distinctive. Nowadays a BMW looks like a Mondeo looks like a Jaguar looks like Toyota. Thank goodness for a Z4 eg.

Ha ha you say that, but....
my O/H has a Z4 35is, and she was paying at the petrol station when the lass who worked there asked "what kind of Ford is that?"
....and then proceeded to argue that there was no way it was BMW since it didn't look like one

Dare I say that is probably why she works at a petrol station……...

Does The Oracle have a Z4? In the old days I imagine a manager of a traditional but very well established 'high end' jewellers would have had a quality car but not one too flashy - a Rover perhaps? Sadly that marque has gone belly up along with Triumph and my beloved Saab!

granted you have raised a very fair point.
