At the suggestion of Super Mod Jeremy, I'm reluctantly posting 2 watches for sale.

First up is my ALT1-Z CH47 DLC LE and second is my brother-in-law's ALT1-Z CH47 Stainless Steel LE.

Both watches are XX/50, though only around 15 or so were made in DLC, the remainder being in stainless. Mine is up for sale as my main family car is terminally ill and needs replacing soon. The other is up for sale as my b-i-l has an expensive wedding to fund! Both watches are in perfect in every way, as fresh as the day they came out of the box. The DLC has been worn indoors less than a handful of times, the stainless watch only to try for size (so is to all intents and purposes unworn). Any marks you see on the photos below are dust.

So to the watches...

The basic watches are amazing ALT1-Zs but incorporate several unique design features which make them stand out from even Bremont's superb military LEs, let alone others such as Breitling. I'll let the photos below do the talking for me.

The boxes etc

Both watches come as a full set

And so to the stainless... Here you can see the detailing of the dial.

The chrono subdial hands are 3-bladed to mimic the Chinook rotor blades, thus completing the unique plan view of the tandem-rotored Chinook helicopter. In addition, at the 4 o'clock position, the dial reads CH47 in homage to the Chinook's Boeing model number.

The exhibition case back shows the modified movement and the Bremont skeletised rotor which also has cutouts in the shape of Chinook rotor blades. Each watch is engraved with a personalised code and it's LE number. This watch pays homage to the only RAF aircraft in which Distinguished Flying Crosses have been won in 3 different conflicts (Falklands, Iraq and Afghanistan).

As well as the stainless steel bracelet (only ever fitted for these photos), the watch comes supplied with a brown vintage leather strap and a black Bremont velcro strap (not shown)

Here is the DLC, showing the same details. It comes with DLC bracelet, black leather strap with white stitching and DLC buckle and a black velcro strap with red stitching.

The rear of the watch is also DLC and engraved with the callsign I used during many combat rescue missions in Afghanistan.

Hopefully you can see that this is a really well thought out design and something very different to normal LEs. In the flesh, the watches are absolutely stunning, especially on the bracelets as supplied.

The price for the watches is WITHDRAWN

I'm happy to F2F within 100 miles of the Basingstoke area or I can arrange fully insured delivery within the UK.

If you do live further afield and I’m unable to deliver the watch to you in person, I would aim to send it via FedEx recorded, tracked and suitably insured postage.

I would need cleared funds via bank transfer (or wire) for payment. I will also accept payment by PayPal, but the buyer will need to add 3.4% to cover fees.

I'm obviously happy to discuss any queries you may have via PM.

Thanks very much for looking.

Stunning watches and some great photos, no doubt someone will want one, would make a great addition to any Bremont collection!
If only I had the funds available :-(

Don't suppose you would swop one of them for a hand painted portrait of Bowie or TAFKAP (The Artist Formerly Known As Prince)?

He's certainly talented, but I need readies for my new car! Like you, I'd struggle to draw a raffle ticket...

:D It wasn't really a serious suggestion because the emulsion has faded on the wall in the dining room and it would leave a mark!
Good luck with the sale (and the car!) If I had the readies I wouldn't hesitate - it's a superb looking watch. I bet it'll sell quickly. If I can find an interested buyer I'll point them in your direction.

Sorry to say this mate, but if you're still asking 4250 a piece I'd suggest maybe you've over-priced them a tad - especially if you're asking for an additional 145 if the buyer wants to pay via Paypal which makes it 4395. To put this into perspective, a quick look on Watchfinder shows me any one of three Rolex Seadwellers at 4650 each or 9 Rolex Submariners ranging from 3650 - 4650. Both these models are fairly likely to maintain or even appreciate in value - unlike your pieces. Of course, if someone is specifically in the market for a military Bremont then fair enough, but I would say that for the majority of folk 4250 (4395?) is a bit rich.

But then I also stress that this is just my assessment!

Yarders

I'll bet the Rolex aren't brand new, unworn though! Considering that a brand new Alt1-B is 4295 on a leather, the price being asked for the CH-47 watch with bracelet and leather doesn't look too bad! And it is much more exclusive, only the best people have them........ahem

Yeah, I completely agree that the watches are collector's items (if that's what you fancy) and very nice indeed, but the cold fact is they are still second hand watches, unworn or otherwise.
