Exciting news! The ALT1TUDE SE is ready for production.

Bremont will be contacting ALL customers regarding final confirmation on their specification (SS or DLC) plus strap choice. Once all confirmations are in, then production will commence - It will take 3 weeks to to build watches, with the first shipment being despatched from the first week in August!

I'm no photoshop expert, but maybe this will help your decision?

I think the DLC actually looks real good if it comes out looking like this....

Thank you GMYGMT! It does help. I am sticking with the DLC since my other 2 Bremonts are SS..... it will be a nice change of pace.

Exactly my thought. Got a MB2 and SM500 and none of my other watches is DLC so I'm gonna stick with DLC for my SE. But the SS looks so freakin good!!!

Real tough call, but I think those of you who are going DLC to add variety to your Bremont collection are making a good decision. If I already had a DLC, I'd almost certainly pick SS though. Can't go wrong either way!

Me to, I'm needing some black in my collection after I got rid of a IWC Top Gun.

If you did decide to go for the DLC which would be your strap option??

If DLC I would stick with the black vintage strap I think, I also have a Piers forum strap coming in black with grey stitching/back.

Since this will be my first Bremont I have an easier call but still a tough decision. Think I will stick with SS and a black vintage strap.

Very nice it will be too mate! My worry is that I have an MBII and am quite likely to get a blue U2 at some point so am thinking all 3 in SS cases might be too similar.

Chipbutty55 certainly has a valid point, I see where he's coming from and this will no doubt apply to others as well. Under these circumstances do not see how you can go wrong with a DLC!

Sound advice, think I may have to change!!

I am going with the Black vintage on the DLC.... Although I also think the grey leather could be a nice fit too (though that does not seem to be a popular option from what I have read).

Has anyone been contacted yet by Bremont?

I've been contacted by Bremont this morning. I chose DLC, black vintage and also asked for a deployant buckle.

We're getting there pretty quickly I think! :)

I've also been contacted!

- Watch #4
- Stainless Steel
- Grey Strap
- Deployment Clasp

Did we ever get confirmation if they would swap the normal buckle with a deployment? If so, is there an added cost??

I've just been in contact with Emma @ Bremont about this, this is what she said..

The Alt1tude is supplied with the pin-buckle as standard. The price of the Deployment is £185 or £105 if it is in place of the pin-buckle.

The old style brown vintage strap was advised to be worn on a Deployment to avoid stress to the leather. The new black vintage is a different material and will wear well on the pin-buckle or the Deployment.

Hope this helps :D

I have a question in regards to the Pin Buckle vs the Deployment Buckle.

I have skinny wrists and basically will be wearing the Bremont on the strap's inner last hole. My question is if I get the Deployment Buckle, will it feel more snug on the wrist?

The deployment buckle has that metal folding clasp that resides under the strap when worn. I assume this will take up more space in between any gaps, and therefore make the watch feel more snug. Can anyone confirm this?

Thanks!

i can confirm that deployment works well on skinny wrists, and you may not be on same hole as you would with the pin buckle. You can always ask for a short strap too.

Okay, just to confirm...if I used the Deployment Buckle on the same hole that I would've used the Pin Buckle, I assume it's going to be more snug/tight correct?

I know this might be a silly question, but I've had prior deployment buckles where after I put it on the strap (using the same hole), it became more loose instead of snug!

I also prefer to go with the standard strap since I'm right on the cusp. Thanks!

Correct. At least, that's how it worked for me. I'm like you, wish a smaller wrist and thought that on a regular length strap I'd be on the last hole. i decided to order my watch wih a short black leather strap and I have really regretted it since arrival, as the short leaves me with a small nub on deployment. For all my straps since then, I've gotten regular length, which I like much better.

Gone for the same option for #2: DLC, black vintage an pin buckle, will look very fine.
