........Piers and I travelled over to Basel World, again this year and look who we bumped into!!
Those fantastic guys at Bremont.

We'd seen Andrew at the Airport too, who was whizzing over for a quick visit.

Here are my favourite pics from the stand.

Hi there
Great pics!
really love the new Solo, this reminds me of the 6B/159 A.M. original RAF pilots watches with a modern twist (i am sure this was what was intended)
the Solo certainly improves on the BC-S1 BC-S2 and BC-F1 by removing the querky details and making the dials clearer and also the size is now perfect
No pics of the P.51?
cheers
tim

Hi Tim. No sorry - as detailed in an earlier thread - the P-51 was there and looking great but some tweaks to the colours (mostly the markers) are needed, so It wasn't right to take any photos but for us to wait until they're 100% happy with it.

We think the SOLO range will be a great success for them - I agree with the removal of the quirks - I love the BC-S2 quirks personally, but if I was looking to buy my first Bremont then the white solo would do it for me.

Afternoon Gents, It was great to meet you both in Basel. I am now back in the US and telling every watch guy, retailer and media person about the Alt1tude forum. Take care and if you or any of your North American bloggers need anything, please let me know.

BTW, I loved the new white Solo just in case you are still voting ;)

Hi Michael

It was great to meet you also - and I take it you had fun back in the UK (midlands? :)) after Basel?

I'm sure you'll have absolutely NOOO problem in selling those SOLOs... I too prefer the white one now I've seen it.

Thats right, the bright lights of Nuneaton (town of tomorrow) brought me back down to earth with a crash after Baselworld!
Food, family, good beer and a chance to sort out my twangy American/transatlantic accent and now I am back to normal "Me duck"!

I will let you guys know how we are doing over here and hopefully see you again in the near future.

Thanks again

Mike
