Heck $75,000 is pretty cheap! It cost the USAF about $5,000,000.00 for my mine in 1984! Cheers Jim.

Good Lord. First the EP120 nonsense, but this one tops the cake! Just ridiculous.

Jim has started me off on an interesting thread about defence procurement and sales. His F-4 was some $5 million in 84, by the mid 90's when the USAF was ending purchase of the F-16 fleet they had a price tag of around $17 million each while more recent sales of the same aircraft to iraq have a vastly inflated price tag! I am hoping our Bremonts will also increase in value like an F-16 on reheat!

Personally I think one would be a cad and a bounder if one wore one without being entitled to do so, Jim earned his the hard way! As for value, like other things in life, it's only worth what someone is prepared to pay for it - in real terms not much more than any other MB watch!

That is a crazy price for the MB1 and I would be shocked if they get it. The EP120 is high but not insane. All the recent ones up for sale have been in the $16-19K USD range.

I added the cents to make the number look bigger for effect! Cheers Jim
